Just modified as of 11-27-12...design codes have been added to the design gallery. I hope this helps when ordering. Also, modifications can always be made. Meaning first names or dates can always be added or taken away when selecting what you want in your design. A lot of these are for weddings and you may not want any dates when giving gifts for Christmas.  That's the beauty of personalization, we can put just about anything you would like into your design.

The Nebraska State Fair

August 24 - September 3, 2012

Design Haven Graphics will be in the GROW Nebraska Store in the Vendor building at the State Fair in Grand Island!

I am busy with wedding orders and etching pans to be showcased at the State Fair. If you're going to the State Fair and would  like to see your family name showcased on an item, go to my facebook page and let me know!  I can't promise that I'll be able to put your name on something, but just thought I'd put it out there instead of randomly choosing names myself.

Here are a few items I'll be taking...

A couple weeks ago at Omaha Eppley Airport I delivered 10 new pans and put lighting in the display.
The store looks pretty good. Be sure to stop by if you're in the Omaha airport (on the north end).

I love what I do as a graphic designer,

but I also have the flexibility as a stay-at-home Mom of three boys.

This business really started out of my desire to do something creative and by using things I already had on hand. I decided my 9 x 13” pans needed to be dressed up. And what better to put on them than my name so when I take them to church, I’m sure to bring my own pan back home. So much more beautiful than tape, marker or stickers that soon turn into an unsightly mess.

One day I surprised my best friend by etching their last name on one of their 9 x 13” pans as a surprise for her birthday.  She still says it’s one of the best gifts anyone has given her. Wow, what a great compliment!  Of course my best friend had to share this information with her co-workers and then I had four more items to etch.

So I made a decision to share this with as many people as I can. So here I am doing area events, trade shows, craft shows and am a member of GROW Nebraska. There are some great opportunities that show up in my inbox.  And I take advantage of as many as I can.

As a graphic designer I’m thrilled to be doing what I love and something that gives me a huge creative outlet. Believe me, a mother of three boys NEEDS this!

So as a stay-at-home mom, I can raise my kids and still be creative and have some adult time too.

Summer 2011 Projects

Cake Plate with Dome

This cake plate with dome turned out so amazing. However very challenging going completely around the dome. The newly weds were very pleased with it as well.

The cake plate and the dome can also be flipped to become a punch bowl as well, sorry I didn't take a photo of that. So the "H" worked well for the monogram.

Couldn't resist etching the top of the cake dome.

9x13 Pyrex pan, also comes with a lid.

8x8 Pyrex pan, all samples are for sale.  If adjusted this pan could also be personalized.

I think this looks great to give as is.  This lid is on the pan with a card tucked under the ribbon. This was a bonus as I cut the vinyl wrong and I just couldn't throw it away, so I made a card to match the pan.

A "Cookie Jar" for the dog.  As soon as I get some dog treats, I'll add another photo with the jar filled.

Bold, yet stunning Trifle bowl.

Included with all gifts are tags you can tuck into your card to let the recipient know their gift has been uniquely etched just for them.
